Data Analyst
JOB PURPOSE :
The role involves ownership of data end-to-end from analysis and presentation as dashboards for management decisions with special focus on ensuring efficient supply chain planning of perishable items and maintaining appropriate fulfillment without wastage
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- To Develop and maintain the interactive dashboards of sales and supply data using tools such as Tableau to manage all key aspects of Sales and Supply chain operations
- Build processes and automation to make predictive supply chain, empower operation leaders with 'preventive insights' to move away from 'reacting to a problem' to 'rooting out the problem'
- Closely work with the technology team for all supply chain related technology related development
- To assist Supply Chain Team with data analysis and reporting on inbound and outbound supply chain elements
- To Provide Supply chain Team with analysis to support best demand planning and sound inventory management; Monitor stock levels versus targets and order lead times
- To Develop and maintain the interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau to manage all key aspects of Sales and Supply chain operations
- Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations
- Monitoring and evaluating supply risks
- Develop plan to minimize sales returns/damaged goods and short expiry goods by monitoring RTV%
- Proactively identify process gaps in SCM & logistics operations and find opportunities for optimization by continuously monitoring SCM Metrics
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Skills :
- Proficiency in Tableau and ability to convey actionable business insights to end users using data visualization
- Ability to extract, analyze and link system data (ERP, Excel, Google sheets) to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI and Tableau)
- Ability to understand business problems and convert that into data analytics problem
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals
- Experience utilizing SQL/VBA, Hands on experience in VBA, R-coding is desirable
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields
- Special certifications in data analysis and forecasting tools such as Tableau, SQL etc.
Experience :
- Prior experience (2+ Years) of working with E-Commerce start-ups or Omni-Channel businesses is must have; ideally in the perishable food industry
- Two or more years' experience in a supply management role or related position
- Experience in managing data from multiple sources
