About the Role
As part of our continued growth, we are investing into the expansion of our data analytics team and are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking and hands-on Data Analyst to drive and evolve our data capabilities.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to raise the organizational maturity from ad-hoc
reporting to empowering employees and clients to make insights-driven business decisions. From a technology standpoint, you will need to enhance as well as transform our data management and
warehousing platform to orchestrate an increased data diversity as well as volumes alongside our
cloud journey.
Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for the following:
• Collaborate with business functions across the bank to implement new data analytics use
cases and reports
• Perform data and upstream system exploration and modelling
• Implement and/or update underlying logic of business requirements in the data warehouse
• Assist in Ad-Hoc reporting
• Build and maintain Power BI and SSRS Reports
• Recognize potential and support the automation of various business processes
• Collaborate with IT teams to initialize the integration of further data pipelines, building out
the long-term data warehouse capabilities
• Participate in cross-functional data initiatives
• Maintain a data catalogue to support governance, understand lineage and through the
right
• Help to visualize and document the current system landscape from a data perspective
• Promote data analytics within the company and support business in making data-driven
decisions
Skills and Qualifications
For you to become part of AMINA’s journey, we require the following set of experience:
• At least 5+ years of proven track record as a Data Analyst, preferably with prior business
analysis experience
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Working experience with analytics/reporting platforms, preferably PowerBI (including DAX)
• Experience with optimization of business processes through automation
• Financial services background and passion to understand business needs and translate into
insight generating solutions
• Cloud experience, preferably with the Microsoft Azure
• Strong team player, fostering relationships and cross-divisional interactions
Preference
• Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Experience in DAX coding
• Experience in MS Power Automate
• Knowledge of Core Banking data structures / Finance knowledge
• Experience with different kinds of databases such as NoSQL, Object- or Column-oriented
