Role/Job Title: Data Analyst
Place of Work: Mumbai
Job Purpose:
IDFC First Bank Customer Experience BIU works on providing analytical solution for strategies, model, dashboard, campaigns & performance measurement of campaigns to arrive at insights that will help in better Customer Experience.
The Data Analyst role
Identifies business needs
builds analytical tools
Develop test strategies
Supports Senior Analysts & Lead Analyst in delivering business outcome
Key Responsibilities:
• Will be responsible for the creation of new analytical capabilities for the organization by envisioning and designing analytics processes thus improving customer experience and business performance by enabling informed decision making
• Able to understand complex business problems and proactively identify data-driven solutions ensuring best customer experience
• Performs complex analytics/design and works autonomously, with little or no guidance
• Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to increase adaption of analytics in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies
• Performs research and manages internal processes necessary for successful project implementation
• End-to-end digital performance tracking, implementation and maintenance of the required digital/web analytics tools
• Leverage advanced analytics techniques to map customer behaviors
• Create easy-to-understand visualizations that provide actionable insights that answer business problems, especially those centered around improving user experience and impact
• Communicate the context and value of models, data analysis and dashboards to stakeholders
Business Results:
• Help the user in driving their KPIs – by timely execution on monitoring dashboard, pro-active program roll outs, assisting launch of new product, features, and projects.
• Share best practice of one unit in others to ensure seamless replication of Centre of Excellence is done within analytics
Risk, Controls & Conduct:
• Ensure error free execution and seamlessly follow a documented process for execution.
• Ensure data is shared only with required and authorized users
• Before sharing of any data (customer sensitive) ensure data governance policies are adhered.
• Enable transparency by communicating the impacts of changing market, credit, reputational and/or finance risks and through regular maintenance of updates to policies / procedures
Qualification & Experience:
• 2+ years of relevant experience with prior focus in advanced analytics
• B.Tech/B.E. or MBA or Master's/Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer science or any other relevant stream
Essential Skills:
• Capable of handling large datasets and merge, update, join etc. using SQL and SAS
• Must have experience in dashboards and presentations
• Experience in AWS will be preferred
• Knowledge of analytical tool e.g. Python is an added benefit
• Knowledge of Python libraries like Pandas and Numpy is an added benefit
