Key Accountabilities
Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse complex supply chain datasets (inventory, logistics, procurement, demand planning) using Databricks to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation. Conduct root-cause analysis on key metrics to drive performance improvements.
Data Engineering & ETL: Build and maintain SQL/Python scripts in Databricks for efficient ETL processes, ensuring high data quality and accessibility.
Reporting & Visualisation: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to provide real-time visibility and support data-driven decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with logistics, operations, and procurement teams to understand business needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
Continuous Improvement & Governance: Enhance data processes and reporting frameworks while ensuring data integrity in partnership with engineering teams.
About You
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Solid professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence, within supply chain, logistics, or operations.
Strong SAP experience is a must
Advanced SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Lakehouse architecture and notebooks.
Proficient in Python for large-scale data analysis and scripting.
Skilled in creating interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
Familiarity with supply chain data models and metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, lead time, forecast accuracy).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Self-motivated and collaborative team player
