About the Role
The Driver Platform team caters to drivers who are the backbone of Gojek ecosystem. In this role you will focus on elevating drivers’ experience and build features that help drivers unlock more income, so that the can have a cordial, mutually beneficial and hassle-free engagement with Gojek. You will thus be working in an area of high relevance and impact. It will be involved in understanding the problems drivers’ face during the course of the day - the menace of traffic, the struggles of inclement weather, long wait times, rude customers, the anxiety of not getting orders and help drivers tackle these challenges! You will work with Business and product stakeholders and help make data-driven decisions.
What You Will Do
• Design data marts to meet business requirements
• Perform (exploratory) analysis in relation to determining new project pilot settings, new features, user behavior, in-app behavior
• Validate & quantify the impact of features/initiatives by designing and implementing sound experimentation strategies and statistical analyses
• Communicate findings through well documented analyses and visualizations
• Build self-serve data products such as dashboards and tables to reduce time to insights and for tracking product group KPIs
• Brainstorm with the Product and Business teams to identify new product or business opportunities
• Perform advanced analytics/DS when needed (such as building machine learning models using R/Python)
What You Will Need
• At least 3 years of professional experience in data analytics and business intelligence
• Expert in SQL and strong experience with data visualization and dashboarding ( using tools like Tableau, Metabase, near data studio, etc)
• Strong knowledge of Python/R for data wrangling analysis
• Ability to design a data mart to meet business requirements
• Strong business sense and critical thinking ability
• Ability to independently conduct analysis of a business problem through data manipulation, formulation of hypotheses, design and statistical analysis of experiments to test them
• Bonus points for prior experience with supervised & unsupervised learning and business analysis
