Job Description: Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Role
Role Overview:

Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources, identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies to generate meaningful insights.
Reporting and Visualization: Design and develop visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other similar platforms to present key findings and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Business Intelligence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs,define key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop business intelligence strategies to support decision-making processes.
Predictive Analytics: Utilize statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and
predictive analytics to develop forecasting models and identify opportunities for process
improvement, revenue growth, and cost optimization.
Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency by implementing and
maintaining data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior
management, department heads, and business analysts, to understand their data
requirements and deliver actionable insights that align with business goals.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging
technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
This role is a combination of individual contribution and people management
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer
Science, Statistics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Experience: years of relevant work experience in data analytics, business
intelligence, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and
driving business outcomes.
Data Analytics Tools: Proficiency in working with tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar
languages for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Data Visualization: Strong experience in creating visually appealing and interactive
dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google
Cloud Platform)
Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into
meaningful analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making and improve operational
efficiency.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
effectively present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
Advanced Analytics: Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, such as machine
learning, data mining, natural language processing, or artificial intelligence, and their
application in solving business problems.
Statistical Analysis: Solid understanding of statistical techniques and methodologies for data
analysis, such as regression analysis, clustering, time series analysis, and hypothesis testing.
Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality
management
