Job Description
Manastu Space Technologies • Internship • Powai, Maharashtra, India
About Manastu Space
We believe that due to limited resources on the planet, there is a need to look out for an alternative to solve our problems, and the other side is space. This option is viable only if we have a low-cost, and sustainable access to space. Manastu Space is working with the exact vision of reducing the cost of access to space.
We are a Space Safety and Logistics Company, using technology to save a Trillion $ Space industry from Debris Pollution in Space. We believe that the problems of Earth can be solved using Space. However, the rapid increase in the number of satellites is also increasing the risk of satellite collision, leading to Debris pollution- making space a dangerous place for other satellites as well as astronauts. To prevent this, we are developing an Agile, Safe, Efficient and Affordable Green Propulsion System with a new fuel, engine and catalyst for the engine to avoid satellite collision in space and prevent Debris Pollution, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology.
In this role, you will be responsible for the AIT of Manastu's satellite propulsion systems ranging from CubeSat up to 1-tonne class. Utilizing Manastu's high-performance green propellant architecture, all systems are assembled, integrated and tested in house.
Responsibilities:
· Design and develop data analysis software, algorithms, and visualization tools to process and analyze results from monopropellant engine and thruster tests.
· Work closely with propulsion test engineers to understand test requirements, data formats, and analysis needs. Translate those needs into software requirements and architecture.
· Build tools and dashboards to automatically process raw test data, perform calculations and correlations, and generate plots, charts, and reports to summarize test results.
· Continuously improve software design, efficiency, and analysis capabilities through new algorithms, better visualization, and enhanced data processing.
Educational Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Experience:
· Experience in software development and data analysis.
· Experience with data analytics tools like Python, R, MATLAB, etc.
· Experience developing data visualization tools (e.g. matplotlib, plotly, bokeh, etc).
· Experience with data processing and statistical analysis.
· Experience working with large, complex datasets.
· Experience with software QA and testing processes.
· Experience with control algorithm tools (Eg. SIMULINK, LabView, etc.)
Knowledge/Skills:
· Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, C++, Java.
· Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to understand propulsion/monopropellant testing parameters and data.
· Understanding of software development lifecycle and documentation.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Good communication skills.
