Data and IT Specialist

TITLE- Data and IT Specialist Staff

JOB SUMMARY:

A dedicated Data Integration Specialist will ensure the seamless operation of our data integration processes and will be a member of the E-Solutions team. The E-Solutions team is a forward-thinking department that leverages third-party integration providers to design and implement IT integrations. The team is also responsible for the client visibility experience and managing systems to streamline operational processes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Monitoring

· Monitor data status messages to ensure accurate and timely data integration messaging.

· Identify and troubleshoot data integration issues.

· Recommend and implement fixes in collaboration with UNIQUE/agent staff.

· Develop and host integration process training to UNIQUE /agent staff.

· Be the escalation point for the team members regarding integration issues.

· Recommend and implement fixes in collaboration with third-party integration providers.

· Maintain documentation of data integration training, processes and issues.

Testing and Validation

· Develop test plans to verify integration functionality and data integrity.

· Assist in the testing and validation of integration projects, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.

· Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

· Work closely with project managers, developers, and other IT specialists to support integration initiatives.

Support and Collaboration

· Participate in meetings to discuss project status, issues, and solutions. As meetings involve global partners, meeting times may be outside normal local business hours.

· Establish efficient cross-functional working relationships with all business units.

· Actively manage and monitor relationships with key vendors and their performance.

· Other tasks as needed to ensure smooth and prompt shipping and customer service experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

· A degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related work experience.

· Proven experience in logistics data integration and troubleshooting.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work collaboratively with third-party providers and internal teams.

· Cargowise Experience.
