About the role
eApproval is an online application which enables the end-to-end document management and workflow solution of all briefs, Ministerials and correspondence. The application enables NSW Health’s vision for a digitally enabled workplace with streamlined management of approvals.
We are looking for a Data and Reporting Analyst to deliver ongoing specialist application support on all data quality issues within the state-wide application as well as developing and maintaining interactive reports and dashboards that visualise key metrics.
What you’ll be doing
Assess the effectiveness of existing reporting systems and develop new ones to improve workflows including training users to interpret data and make decisions.
Lead and deliver requirements management (eliciting, documenting, analysing, prioritising, verifying and validating) for relevant programs and projects.
Provide high level analysis, support and expert advice to support IT projects, planning and delivery of initiatives.
Support the product owners by undertaking data analysis and impact assessments including testing, training and business transitions.
Provide plain language advice on complex technical issues to non-technical audiences to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements.
Provide technical, configuration and associated application support, including coordinating and delivering the required support levels for complex and significant data quality related issues, problem resolution and change management in accordance with agreed service levels.
Support the state-built functionality, work practices and workflows to maintain data integrity and functionality of application.
Support metadata management, data dictionary and taxonomy for data standardisation and governance.
