Role: Data Associate II

The Team

Center of Excellence a function within DIS Cluster on Market Intelligence division at S&P Global is responsible for driving excellence by bringing in synergies across domains within cluster and work with domains together to drive prioritization & relevance, value creation & management, re-engineered capacity planning, risk management and continuous improvement through best practices and experiment/innovation to achieve excellence.

You will gain exposure & opportunities to frequently interact with global teams, that will help understand the industry dynamics, cultural diversity and create a symbiotic work culture along with bringing in Ops & process/business excellence together as well as function in collaboration to strengthen our capabilities and serve our clients better.

The Impact

This role will involve working with the team and domains within cluster on a variety of initiatives related to and focused towards Operational/Business excellence.

Opportunity to be a part of a new function i.e., CoE providing great learning opportunities. Wide exposure to multiple domains within cluster.

Opportunity to work with diverse and multicultural domains/teams working out of Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Islamabad, Manila, China, US and Buenos Aires offices, to achieve a common goal of excellence.

Accountability would be towards understanding, supporting, and owning the functional objectives of driving excellence, supporting all data requirements, from gathering the data supporting the requirements to drawing inferences accordingly. Communicate with passion and enthusiasm, embrace change as a way of working and lead by example.

Responsibilities
• High-quality data collation, analysis, extraction and entering the data in work tools as per guideline specifications using SQL and other methods as relevant.
• Responsible for supporting the day-to-day data and analysis requirements.
• Interact and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary and work on project requirements and data gathering, analysis and enhancement initiatives as needed.
• Building Dashboards and data analysis frameworks preferably on Power BI.
• Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and domains as needed.
• Identify and assess business/process risks, improvement opportunities.
• Execute root causing of data lapses and gaps.
• Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset
• Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team.

Eligibility Criteria/Qualifications
• Bachelors/Master’s Degree.
• Excellent Microsoft Access, advanced Excel, SQL and Power BI skills.
• Intermediate Knowledge of RPA, Machine Learning, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies with expertise on working with Visio.

Preferred Qualifications (Internal Candidates)
• Excellent knowledge of Pathfinder and other internal tools.
• Strong understanding of different domains is an added advantage.
