Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will be responsible for data engineering tasks including data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics. The Data Engineer will work on-site at our Jaipur location.
API Integration:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to integrate various third-party APIs with our data infrastructure.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness through effective API management and monitoring.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to optimize API usage and data flows.
Power BI Development:
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring a seamless flow of information into Power BI.
• Optimize Power BI performance, manage data models, and ensure data security and compliance.
Data Management and Analysis:
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across various data sources and platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Technical Support and Documentation:
• Provide technical support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Document data processes, integration procedures, and BI solutions for reference and knowledge sharing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with API protocols (REST, SOAP).
Qualifications
• Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with API protocols (REST, SOAP).
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
Preferred qualification
• Experience in the e-commerce sector or related industries.
• Knowledge of additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and tools
