Job Title: Credit Manager Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai Job Type: Full-Time Industry: MSME Lending Experience: 3–7 years in credit appraisal, underwriting, or loan syndication Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential clients, assessing financial statements, structuring deals, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. This role is critical in managing credit risk and facilitating healthy portfolio growth. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate credit applications of MSME clients by analyzing financials, bank statements, GST data, and other relevant documents Conduct due diligence and site visits to assess business viability and repayment capacity Recommend credit limits, terms, and structure for working capital facilities, term loans, LC/BG, etc. Prepare detailed credit appraisal memos and present cases to the internal credit committee or banking partners Monitor portfolio health, track repayments, and flag early warning signals for delinquency Coordinate with sales, operations, and legal teams to ensure timely disbursal and documentation Stay updated with RBI guidelines, banking products, and industry trends Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA/CA preferred) Proven experience in credit underwriting for MSMEs or SMEs Strong understanding of financial statements, ratio analysis, and cash flow modeling Familiarity with credit bureau reports, civil searches, and regulatory norms Proficient in MS Excel, financial modeling, and loan assessment tools Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Reporting To: Head of Credit / Credit Head / Founder Compensation: As per industry standards; based on experience and skill set
