Bank of America Voices is an application for Client survey and data analysis platform conducted on Medallia 3rd Party platform.
Job Description
The requirement to recreate the analytics platform in the Hadoop space since most of the primary source systems (SOR) are migrating to Hadoop Data Lake. Hence this resource will be involved in Analysis, Design, development & maintenance of the proposed new platform.
Responsibilities
• Be a good team player
• Should be able to work in shifts on rotation basis.
• Flexibility in adapting to team requirements
• Ensuring adherence to development standards, best practices
• Ensuring high quality levels in all deliverables
• Adhere to team’s governing principles and policies
• Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge
• Participate and contribute to Team/Project Reviews
• Actively involved in Process improvements and automations.

BE/ B.Tech/MCA/ME/MTech
Certification in any
Experience
5 - 7 Years
Foundational Skills
• Minimum 3+ years of Big Data experience in developing solutions using Hadoop technologies Hive/Sqoop/MapReduce/Python/Spark/Scala
• Need to work with top level stakeholders of Hadoop clusters, take the requirement and perform end - end work from Analysis, Design, Model tables, Coding & testing and promote to production
• Must have a working knowledge on high speed querying hive scripts development
• Develop Bigdata strategy & roadmap for the enterprise
• 3+ years of strong Unix shell scripting capabilities and exposure to any job scheduler like AutoSys
• Loading from disparate datasets, Preprocessing using Hive, translate complex technical & functional
