Part-Time Data Warehouse & BI Specialist – Subiaco (3 Days per Week)
Are you a skilled Data Warehouse & BI Specialist looking for a part-time opportunity where you can make a real impact? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Subiaco, working three days per week to support critical finance, procurement, and clinical care improvements through data-driven solutions.
About the Role:
As a Data Warehouse & BI Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing our data warehouse architecture. You will work extensively with the Microsoft stack (SSIS, SQL Server, Power BI, T-SQL) to create meaningful dashboards, ETL processes, and predictive models that drive business insights and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance the data warehouse architecture to support business improvements.
Create and manage Power BI dashboards, ETL scripts, and data models to support business outcomes.
Integrate and transform data from various sources using SSIS and advanced SQL techniques.
Consult with business units to scope data structures, reporting needs, and integration strategies.
Collect, clean, and process structured and unstructured data to improve data quality.
Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms for deeper insights.
Establish and maintain data governance and quality to ensure reliable reporting.
Work closely with stakeholders to communicate data-driven insights and recommendations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to improve the team’s technical capability.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
✔ 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in BI Reporting Tools (Microsoft preferred).
✔ Advanced SQL Server & T-SQL skills, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
✔ Hands-on experience with ETL tools (preferably SSIS) and data integration.
✔ Strong understanding of data management, governance, and ITIL principles.
✔ Ability to work across the full project lifecycle – from gathering requirements to implementation and handover.
✔ Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
✔ A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a relevant industry certification.
✔ Experience in the aged care sector and related software (highly desirable).
