Role Description
You will be joining the Engineering team within the TDI Cloud & Innovation Network. Cloud & Innovation Network are a global team focused on delivering pioneering projects across a range of analytical and data driven solutions for all functions across Deutsche Bank, and wider Financial Services Industry. We focus on delivering innovative products using cutting-edge technologies in highly complex architectures and with the highest delivery standards C&IN Engineering perform research and implementation in many advanced domains spanning across AI, IoT, Virtual Worlds, Distributed Ledger Technologies and many more.
The successful candidate is expected to be hands-on with development experience on large-scale projects as well as developing proof of concept solutions.

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will be handling the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:
• Design / Deliver mock-ups and prototypes which utilize DLT
• Work collaboratively with project managers, developers, 3rd party partners, and end-users to deliver working solutions in an Agile and Iterative manner
• Evangelise and promote the adoption and integration of Emerging Technology into the organization
• Provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) support on distributed systems and related projects.
Your skills and experience- tbc. Example below
• Proven experience in working within development built on a foundation of hands-on development
• Experience in architecting distributed systems based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of full software development and testing lifecycle.
• Experience in driving business results through effective use of technology solutions.
• Applied Knowledge of the following would be a distinct advantage
• In-depth expertise in DLT technologies, preferably Ethereum based systems.
• GCP DevOps technologies
• Strong engineering fundamentals (testing, code reviews, code structure, readable and maintainable code).
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum/SaFE delivery teams
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner
• Experience in leading teams
• Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred, in a related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science).
