Data Engineer Role
Location: Mumbai Preferred, Open to PAN India
Job Summary:
7-10 years of experience
Skills:
Proficient in Python, Spark, and SQL programming
Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Glue, Step function, Cloud Formation, and CDK
Bespoke ETL solution development knowledge
Data modelling and T-SQL expertise for business data management and reporting
Ability to conduct technical code and architecture deep-dives
Design, build, and manage data pipelines for complex data structures, encompassing transformation, models, schemas, metadata, and workload management
Collaboration with data science teams to refine and optimize data science and machine learning models and algorithms
Effective communication skills
Responsibilities:
Architecting, creating, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes in AWS
Supporting and transitioning current desktop data tools and Excel analysis pipeline to a cloud-based, highly scalable architecture
Working in an agile environment within a cross-functional product team using Scrum and Kanban
Collaborating with data science teams and business analysts to refine data requirements and consumption needs
Educating colleagues on data pipelining and preparation techniques
Ensuring responsible data use through governance and compliance initiatives
Fostering a DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery process
