Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Scala
• Good experience in PySpark
• Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience in working with any cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong experience with Spark and distributed data processing
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience handling large-scale data transformation and ingestion
• Understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and data warehousing
• Experience with workflow orchestration and scheduling tools
• Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills
Good-to-Have Skills
• Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies
• Exposure to Databricks
• Knowledge of Hive, Hadoop, or other big data ecosystem tools
• Experience with Airflow
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Delta Lake, Iceberg, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of Python beyond PySpark is an advantage
