Position- General Maintenance Specialist (Handyman)
Location- Kuwait
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of expertise in maintenance and repair work across various disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, appliances, and general civil works. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle diverse maintenance tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Electrical Maintenance
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical fixtures, wiring, and appliances.
• Plumbing Maintenance
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and faulty installations.
• Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, and toilets.
• Kitchen Equipment & Appliance Maintenance
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Ensure all appliances are in optimal working condition.
• Civil Works
• Install, repair, and maintain gypsum board structures.
• Perform general painting works, including touch-ups and full repaints.
• Fix and maintain tiles, including grouting and replacement as necessary.
• General Maintenance
• Address day-to-day repair and maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
• Provide solutions for a variety of maintenance-related challenges across the property or facility.
• Administrative Tasks
• Use a ticketing system to track, update, and close maintenance and repair orders.
• Communicate effectively via email to report progress, escalate issues, and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a handyman, general maintenance technician, or similar role.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment/appliance maintenance.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in civil works, including gypsum board installation/repair, painting, and tile fixing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve diverse repair issues independently.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in using email and ticketing systems for task management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance needs.
• Flexibility to handle varying workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
