About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Solutions Architect to join our growing Snowflake Data Cloud Practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data architectures that meet the strategic needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Implement Data Architectures: Develop scalable and efficient data architectures utilizing Snowflake and Gen AI technologies, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
Lead Data Engineering Efforts: Oversee the development and implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration strategies using modern tools and frameworks (e.g, Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Gen AI frameworks).
Develop Data Governance Frameworks: Design and implement robust data governance frameworks that ensure data quality, compliance, security, and metadata management across platforms, while addressing the unique challenges posed by Gen AI.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with clients, internal technical teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring successful delivery and effective integration of Gen AI capabilities.
Optimize Data Systems: Ensure optimal performance of data systems, focusing on scalability, speed, and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues, including those arising from Gen AI implementations.
Implement Automation Processes: Implement automation processes for data integration, monitoring, and error handling to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort, while exploring opportunities to leverage Gen AI for improved automation and insights.
Ensure Data Security: Ensure that data security policies are in place and comply with industry standards and regulations, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, particularly in the context of Gen AI applications.
Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members, promoting best practices in Snowflake, data engineering, and the responsible use of Gen AI technologies.
Requirements
Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on Snowflake and familiarity with Gen AI applications.
Snowflake Expertise: Deep expertise in the Snowflake Data Cloud platform, including data warehousing, security features, performance tuning, and data sharing.
Strong Data Engineering Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages and frameworks used in ETL/ELT processes, with experience in Gen AI frameworks being advantageous.
Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with their data storage and integration services.
Data Governance Knowledge: Solid understanding of data governance principles and tools, including data lineage, cataloging, data security, and compliance frameworks (e.g, GDPR, CCPA), especially in relation to Gen AI.
Collaboration and Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think strategically and solve complex technical problems in a scalable, data-driven manner.
