We have a great opportunity to join one of our international clients on a core banking project. The role will see you working remotely for the first 12 months with a view to switch to a hybrid environment after.

Own migration outcomes end-to-end: You’ll lead the full migration lifecycle – from readiness planning through to production cutover and legacy retirement – ensuring datasets move safely onto the new platform with minimal disruption to business operations.
Drive coordination across teams: You’ll act as the central point of coordination across migration squads, platform owners, data stewards, operations teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment across sequencing, dependencies and delivery capacity.
Lead high-impact decision making: As the migration authority, you’ll guide go-live decisions, manage trade-offs, and act as the primary escalation point for migration risks, issues and dependencies.
Enable controlled, predictable delivery: You’ll ensure migration activities embed governance, testing and control requirements from the outset, while providing clear reporting and insights to senior stakeholders and steering committees.

Mandate
Lead the safe and coordinated migration of enterprise datasets onto a modern data platform, ensuring readiness, sequencing, governance and stakeholder alignment across the full migration lifecycle. Success will come from your ability to orchestrate multiple teams, manage dependencies, mitigate risks and deliver predictable, controlled cutovers.
Requirements
Own the end-to-end migration lifecycle from readiness through to production cutover and legacy system retirement.
Define and manage migration sequencing, bundling and dependencies across datasets and delivery teams.
Lead migration readiness and go-live decisions, ensuring testing, controls and business sign-off are complete.
Direct and prioritise migration activities delivered by migration squads.
Act as the primary escalation point for migration risks, issues and trade-offs.
Coordinate across platform teams, data stewards, business stakeholders and operations teams.
Ensure clear transition and handover to BAU and operational teams post-migration.
Provide clear status reporting suitable for senior stakeholders and steering committees.
Technology / Tooling
Core: AWS, Python, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, SQL
Real‑time data streaming: Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or equivalent event‑driven streaming platforms
Legacy/Reporting exposure beneficial: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI
Architecture: Medallion architecture
Preferred domain experience: Temenos T24/Transact, Mambu, Thought Machine (Vault), Infosys Finacle, Finastra, TCS BaNCS, Fiserv (DNA), Oracle Flexcube, or similar core banking platforms
About YOU
Ideally, you’ll have strong experience leading complex data or platform migrations in large enterprise environments. You’re comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, delivery teams and competing priorities while maintaining a structured and pragmatic approach to risk management.
You’re a confident communicator who can engage senior business and technology leaders, bring clarity to complex delivery environments, and operate with high accountability.
