Job description
About the internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Cataloguing Books & Metadata Entry: Entering accurate book details (title, author, publisher, ISBN, price, etc.) into the system and updating metadata for new arrivals, pre-orders, and special editions.
2. Maintaining Product Listings: Adding new book listings on our website and updating stock status, prices, offers, and cover images regularly.
3. Order Management Support: Assisting with daily order data compilation and basic tracking updates and supporting backend entries for COD/Prepaid orders, shipment info, etc.
4. Customer Information Management: Updating customer records when required (with the utmost confidentiality) and supporting wallet recharge entries or cashback updates as guided.
5. Manage Offer & Coupon Entry: Entering and validating discount coupons or promotional codes on the backend.
6. Error Checking & Corrections: Verifying existing data for errors or missing info and correcting them promptly and cross-checking listings to ensure consistency across platforms.
7. Coordination with Teams: Work with the operations and marketing teams to align data needs and help maintain content hygiene for all book-related information.
8. Provide Miscellaneous Support: Assisting in basic Excel/Google Sheet-based reports as needed and compiling data for new campaigns, sales, or newsletters.
