About the internship:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Gathering Contact Data:
1. Receiving a daily or weekly list of target companies or individual professionals.
2. Using open-web sources (Google, LinkedIn, company sites, Crunchbase, etc.) to locate verified work email addresses, direct phone numbers (if publicly available), and active social handles (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
3. Cross-checking every email via a validation tool (Hunter, NeverBounce, or similar) and tagging the result as 'valid,' 'risky,' or 'invalid.'
4. Maintaining a clean lead sheet.
5. Recording every data point in the prescribed spreadsheet or CRM with consistent formatting.
6. Updating or merging duplicates to keep the database de-duplicated and current.
B. Quality Control:
1. Fixing or flagging any data gaps, broken links, or bounced addresses.
C. Speed and Productivity Tracking:
1. Aiming to hit the agreed daily quota (70-75 fully verified contacts per 6-hour shift).
2. Logging start and finish times for each batch so management can see average research time per contact.
D. Reporting and Collaboration:
1. Submitting an end-of-day summary highlighting total contacts found, validation rate, and any research hurdles.
2. Joining a short stand-up call or posting an asynchronous update to the team workspace to share blockers or process tweaks.
3. Coordinating with the outreach or growth team whenever new contact fields are requested.
E. Process Improvement:
1. Suggesting new tools, keyboard shortcuts, browser extensions, or search operators that could shorten research time.
2. Keeping simple SOP notes so future interns can replicate the workflow.
F. Confidentiality and Compliance:
1. Adhering to GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and any client-specific privacy requirements when gathering and storing personal data.
2. Signing an NDA and handling all prospect information in company-approved systems only.
