Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the key logistics processes including LR generation, challan creation, bill creation, and POD collection. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient transportation documentation and invoicing, contributing to the seamless operation of our logistics department.
Key Responsibilities:
LR Generation:
Create and manage Lorry Receipts (LR) for all outgoing shipments.
Ensure accuracy of shipment details including weight, volume, and destination.
Coordinate with the transportation team to ensure timely and correct LR issuance.
Challan Creation:
Generate challans for all dispatches.
Verify and cross-check challan details against the inventory and order documentation.
Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements for all challans.
Bill Creation:
Prepare and process invoices for all completed shipments.
Ensure accuracy in billing details such as quantity, rate, and taxes.
Coordinate with the accounts department for timely submission and follow-up on payments.
POD Collection:
Collect Proof of Delivery (POD) for all dispatched shipments.
Maintain a systematic record of all PODs and update the logistics system accordingly.
Address any discrepancies or issues related to PODs with the respective parties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related role.
Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Tamil, English, and Hindi.
