Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to support daily data management requirements. The role involves accurate data input, document verification, maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow. The ideal candidate must be efficient, organized, and capable of handling repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and maintain data in spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems
Prepare, review, and verify data for accuracy and completeness
Maintain organized records of invoices, documents, reports, and correspondence
Assist in preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports as required
Coordinate with internal teams to collect and clarify required data
Scan, upload, and file documents both physically and digitally
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
Follow company procedures and data management guidelines
Track pending entries and follow up with relevant departments for missing information
Generate simple analytical reports using Excel (pivot tables, filters, formulas)
Assist during audits by providing documents, records, and data extracts
Review system-generated reports for discrepancies and escalate issues when needed
Support administrative tasks such as printing, photocopying, and preparing document sets
Ensure timely completion of assigned data entry tasks before deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years of experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar role
Strong typing speed with high accuracy
Basic knowledge of accounting entries (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and data-entry tools
Experience with ERP/MIS systems is an added advantage
Good communication and coordination skills
Strong attention to detail and time-management abilities
