Role Overview

As a Mobile Data Entry Specialist at Hirevector, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground. You’ll travel to multiple parking sites across Washington, DC, photograph specific parking assets, record detailed observations, and upload everything instantly using your smartphone or tablet. Your work will be integral to the accuracy and completeness of our city‑wide parking database.

Key Responsibilities
• Daily Site Visits: Navigate to a pre‑determined list of parking locations, ensuring you meet or exceed the daily target of visited sites.
• Data Capture: Photograph parking meters, signage, curb markings, and any other items specified in the assignment brief.
• Accurate Recording: Enter observations—including condition, compliance, and any anomalies—into a structured spreadsheet via a custom mobile app.
• Real‑Time Upload: Sync each data entry and photo to the central database using your device’s internet connection, guaranteeing up‑to‑the‑minute availability for analysis.
• Self‑Managed Scheduling: Plan your own route each day, optimizing travel time and mileage while adhering to the project timeline.
• Quality Assurance: Review your submissions for completeness and accuracy before final upload, addressing any discrepancies immediately.
• Reporting: Provide brief daily summaries to your project coordinator, highlighting any challenges, unusual findings, or route efficiencies.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements
• Reliable Personal Vehicle: Must possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a vehicle capable of safely traveling to various DC neighborhoods.
• Smartphone or Tablet: Compatible with iOS or Android, equipped with a functioning camera and internet connectivity (cellular data preferred).
• Attention to Detail: Proven ability to follow detailed instructions, capture high‑resolution images, and accurately transcribe information.
• Self‑Motivation: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively, and meeting daily targets.
• Basic Technical Skills: Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel) and mobile data entry applications.
• Physical Ability: Ability to walk, climb stairs, and kneel as needed to access parking equipment and signage.
