The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining data into a computer system or database. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills and be proficient with various data entry and database management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data into appropriate databases accurately and efficiently.
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
Review and correct data entry errors, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.
Comply with data integrity and security policies.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data entry needs and issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Familiarity with administrative procedures.
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment with potential remote work options.
Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
