Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Management:
Accurately enter and update patient information into the hospital's database.
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all data is accurate and current.
Verify and correct data where necessary.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information.
Document Handling:
Scan, file, and manage patient documents and records.
Ensure proper labeling and categorization of documents for easy retrieval.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence related to patient data.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with various departments to gather and verify patient information.
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure data accuracy.
Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular audits of data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with data.
Compliance:
Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to data handling and patient confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA.

Data Accuracy Rate:
Target: ++% accuracy in data entry.
Measured by: Periodic audits and random checks of entered data.
Data Entry Speed:
Target: Enter a minimum of 100 records per day.
Measured by: Daily log and productivity reports.
Timeliness:
Target: Complete data entry tasks within 24 hours of receipt.
Measured by: Time stamps on data entries and task completion logs.
Error Rate:
Target: Less than 1% error rate in entered data.
Measured by: Error tracking and audit reports.
Compliance Adherence:
Target: 100% compliance with data handling and confidentiality policies.
Measured by: Regular compliance checks and audit results.

Accuracy in Data Entry:
