The Lighthouse is a center for skilling and livelihood. We provide a sustainable livelihood program for urban disadvantaged youth. The Lighthouse fosters agency, workplace competencies, and skills in youth, thus enabling social and economic transformation for themselves and their communities. The underlying belief is that of the full potential of individuals and the Lighthouse supports each individual in discovering this path and taking the next step towards fulfilling their potential. Through the Lighthouse intervention, youth in low-income or slum communities can make more informed life choices and acquire the necessary skills for improved employability.
About the Internship:
Lighthouse Communities Foundation works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth. This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation. The Lighthouses are run through a public-private partnership that empowers the government, corporates, NGOs and citizens to work together toward changing lives. The provision of location and capital expenditure for the Lighthouse centers is taken care of by the government. Corporates contribute through CSR funds to provide operational expenses. NGOs come on board to provide various skilling courses to the youth. With penetration in more than 400 of the 500-odd slum communities of Pune, the program has now expanded to other cities viz. PCMC, Dombivali, Aurangabad and also States viz. Delhi, Odisha and Hyderabad.
The data executive position in the data & tech team offers young, energetic and motivated people the to be a part of Lighthouse Communities Foundation's digital work. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, data analytics skills and be able to function independently with minimum guidance.
Key responsibilities:
1. Data integration- work timely to upload data in CRM and Excel MIS from different centers
2. Data sanctity- manage regular monitoring of the quality of data and data cleansing
3. Data analysis- conduct data analysis, Identify gaps and provide suggestions or recommendations to improve the program
4. Reporting- prepare weekly, monthly dashboards and trends on program enrollments on different factors like gender,etc for data updates
5. Handle any other work assigned by the line manager or organization
1. Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field with an excellent hold of MS Excel
2. Experience: 0-1 year in data analysis or MIS role
3. Familiar with Excel formulae and functionalities including Pivot tables
4. Understand the significance of clean data and ensure the same at all times to enable in-depth analysis and reporting
5. Adept in preparing exciting reports using software like MS Office (Word, Powerpoint), Canva, etc. or as per the required donor format
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Proficiency in the english language is a must
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
11. Added advantage- very good knowledge about data tools, data analytics, CRM technology, etc.
