Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage data governance frameworks, policies, and standards aligned with business goals and compliance requirements. • Leverage Informatica CDGC, Microsoft Purview, and Collibra to build and maintain data catalogs, data lineage, metadata management, and business glossaries.
• Establish and enforce data stewardship best practices, ensuring high-quality, trusted data across the organization.
• Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and business teams to define and document data governance requirements.
• Implement data classification, privacy, and compliance controls in line with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and other industry standards.
• Develop data lineage visualization and metadata integration strategies to improve data transparency and accessibility.
• Perform data quality assessments and monitoring, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets.
• Provide training and mentorship to business and IT stakeholders on data governance processes and tools.
• Support data governance automation and integration with data management and analytics platforms. • Work closely with data engineering, analytics, and security teams to embed governance into data pipelines and workflows.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 6-8 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, and data quality programs.
• Hands-on expertise in Informatica CDGC, Microsoft Purview, and Collibra for metadata management, data lineage, and cataloging.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience in data stewardship, data quality management, and data compliance.
• Familiarity with data security, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and industry standards.
• Ability to design and implement business glossaries, data dictionaries, and lineage tracking solutions.
• Proficiency in working with data governance automation and integration with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience handling large-scale enterprise data environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills to drive governance adoption.
• Experience in SQL, data modeling, and data architecture concepts is a plus.
