Job Description
Technical Lead - Data Ingestion Requirements and Skills: - Overall ++ years of experience in developing large scale data pipelines in a cloud/on-Prem environment. - 3-4 years of experience in Cloud projects - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS technology - Minimum 4 projects successfully implemented - Highly Proficient in any or more of market leading ETL tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Snap logic, Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend, etc., - Hands on experience with AWS services for ETL, Data lake, Redshift & Snowflake - Hands on experience with Python, Pyspark, Lambda - Deep knowledge in Data warehouse/Data Mart architecture and modelling - Define and develop data ingest, validation, and transform pipelines. - Deep knowledge of distributed data processing and storage - Deep knowledge of working with structured, unstructured, and semi structured data - Working experience needed with ETL/ELT patterns - Identify architecture gaps that can improve availability, performance and security for both productions systems and database systems and works towards resolving those issues. - Strong business analysis and requirement definition background in the areas of data integration (ETL) - Experienced with implementation methodologies and best practices (e.g. waterfall, agile, other) - Experience in establishing criteria for data use/test cases Certifications: (Having certification is an added advantage) - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - Certified in any ETL tool Non-Technical - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to learn quickly and ‘get things done’ - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Motivated to share knowledge in a team environment - Self-directed and able to prioritize own workload Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed.
