Job Description
CAS is looking for Associate level candidate who will be part of a high performing team of Data Management professionals focused on delivering innovative data management solutions to CAS LOB stakeholders. The Strategic Data Management Program Role is focused on ensuring that data sourced, is fit-for-purpose through a suite of data quality analysis & reporting, analytics and data distribution solutions; and every data set / product feature is tested in a robust manner before implementation to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the LOB, Consumers, Compliance, and Technology to perform root cause analysis and develop the strategic remediation path for existing data quality issues for data being sourced into and consumed from Analytics Platform.
Fair understanding of complex metrics implementation E2E lifecycle and solutioning
Assimilate systems, data to help generate summary/detailed level diagnosis. This includes understanding the end to end process and controls.
Coordinate with LOB Business Leads, Reference Data Domain Leads and Functional Domain SME’s to understand data capabilities, current state solutions and assess the ability to deliver a strategic platform
Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
Select, configure and implement analytics solutions
Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g. operations, IT, client feedback)
Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights
Gathering, modeling and analyzing data to test hypothesis and size opportunities;
Building technology solutions to aggregate data and develop metrics
Applying institutional knowledge from the Operations in Reference Data;
Monitor progress against project plans until completion and delivery
Required qualification, capabilities and skills
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; Qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field
8+ years’ experience in Data Management space. Business Analysis experience required, with particular focus in the Data Analytics / Data Management space highly preferred.
Reasonable expertise in Data Integration Tools: SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path, Qliksense, Scripting languages
Proficient in MS Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO)
Excellent understanding of Data Management functions (Data Lineage, Data Taxonomy, Data Governance).
Experience of developing automated Data solutions for analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical / critical thinking and problem solving skills; able to develop and clearly present drawn conclusions & potential solutions with consideration to inherent risks
Structuring and scoping complex problems, applying a range of analytical tools, gaining and synthesizing insights and developing solutions;
Ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including synthesizing key messages for senior management
Data Model knowledge and understanding is preferred.
