Job Description
As the MIS Data Management Associate in our MIS and Platforms team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Liaising with Chief Finance Office (CFO) teams to understand business drivers
Liaising with Platform teams for enhancement and upgradation of source systems in line with client requirements
Extraction and mining of data reports from the source MIS systems . Developing queries for retrieving the large data for analysis from SQL Server .
Review of the Tableau dashboard & coordinating with the team on issues & enhancements.
Supporting & responding to adhoc queries
Scope, prioritize and co-ordinate activities with the product owners and multiple teams across the organization
Overall, the ideal candidate for this position will be highly skilled in data analysis , sourcing and manipulation.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, MBA Finance or any technical Bachelors/Master degree with Finance domain related data analysis
Experience Required: 5 yrs to 7 yrs with exposure to Finance domain oriented data analysis .
Experience in working with multiple data sources and conversion of data for analysis .
Proficiency in building queries for extracting data from large data sets using SSIS .
Should have a proven track record of identifying opportunities for efficiencies and executing the same
Strong technical skills – SQL & Advanced Excel is a must. Alteryx, Tableau knowledge would be added advantage
Good communication and analytical skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Exposure to Data Science and allied technologies like Python and R is an added advantage.
SSIS/Alteryx exposure for complex ETL development is an added advantage.
