We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Lead - Data Platform
In this role, you will:
Build and enhance Cloud based Data Platform, work with diverse global team of data engineers responsible for data platform enhancement, data acquisition, transformation, and distribution.
Ensure on time high quality data pipeline delivery with a single pane of glass for data pipeline observability and support
Partner cross-functionally to enhance existing data sets, eliminating manual inputs and ensuring high quality, and onboarding new data sets
Build and maintain deep alignment with key internal partners on tooling and engineering
Closely work with Data Governance and data architecture team to setup the next level of data organization
Foster an agile collaborative culture which is creative open, supportive, and dynamic
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
10+ years’ experience in hands-on data platform development/enhancement including depth understanding on data strategy, data governance, data quality and data lifecycle.
Depth understanding on Market reference data of banking products across the asset classes.
Ability to design the new data demand quickly using AWS service-based architecture to deliver the data in on-demand/real time or API based.
Technical expert including experience with data processing, orchestration (PostgreSQL DB) ingestion (Python), cloud-based databases/warehousing (AWS).
The ability to manage large data sets through the data lifecycle, including the tooling and observability required to be ensure data quality and control at scale.
Experience implementing, monitoring, and operating data pipelines that are fast, scalable, reliable, and accurate
Passionate about data platforms, data quality and everything data
Practical and detailed oriented engineering associate
Inquisitive member who will bring new ideas that challenge the status quo
