Professionals within Legal and Compliance provide a wide range of services to our business units. They might help to structure a complex and sensitive cross-border transaction; advise on a new product introduction; develop a training program or defuse an investor dispute. They preserve the firm?s invaluable reputation for integrity and protect the firm from sanctions with policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements around the world. They also strive to maintain cooperative relationships with governmental policy makers and the regulatory and self-regulatory agencies that govern the firm?s businesses.
The Dara Privacy Manager will report to the Head of Privacy Operations and will assist with the planning, operation and coordination of privacy operations capabilities at the enterprise level.
Specifically, the incumbant will be responsible for:
-- Supporting business units and Cyber & Privacy Legal to facilitate control gate processes to protect personal data, including the execution of privacy impact assessments and material change reviews and issue reporting.
-- Providing operational support and oversight of the privacy rights management processes, including the development of templates and training for business units.
-- Assisting with the collation and testing of requirements for enhancements to tools that support the privacy program.
-- Producing program metrics and reports for Boards and Governance Committees globally.
-- Assisting with ad hoc queries from clients, internal and external auditors and data protection authorities. ? Partnering with the data protection officers, cyber and privacy legal, privacy compliance, information management, operational risk and the data center of excellence on data protection and privacy initiatives, processes and control frameworks.
-- Fostering continuous improvement of Privacy Operations services and collaborating with other privacy leaders to respond to rapidly changing privacy landscape.
Required Skills:
-- 6-+ years experience in data protection and privacy or information security
--Familiarity with global data protection and privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, PIPL ? Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
-- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
-- Experience interacting with senior management, data protection authorities or industry bodies
-- Understanding of cloud, data loss prevention, masking, encryption, data ethics and/or AI/ML considerations
-- Experience with privacy tools and data analysis
-- IAPP / ISACA certifications a plus
