Our Data Risk tīma (team) sits within the Digital, Data and Analytics division. This is a tīma of diverse skills, who share a common passion for data and information. As Data Quality and Controls Manager, you are one of our data risk SMEs providing advice to the business. You ensure the safe and appropriate use of data across BNZ, and with external parties. This new role is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a strong background in risk management, particularly with expertise in control design, technology risk, data governance, or third-party risk.

This role is based in Auckland and is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
Provide advice regarding data risk control requirements and support control design and delivery.
Develop and monitor data risk indicators to provide assurance and feedback to stakeholders.
Support stakeholders with understanding and executing data quality and data management uplift activities, and their management of data issues.
Design and maintain enterprise artefacts pertaining to data management risk, and data quality.
Support the management of information and data risk obligations, including execution and monitoring over relevant controls.
