Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances, and Cosmos DB for availability, scalability, and performance.
Implement HA/DR, backup/restore automation, and PITR/LTR policies.
Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs for database and analytics workloads, ensuring reliability and compliance.
Administer Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including workspace governance, capacity/performance management, permissions, and data refresh schedules.
Integrate Fabric lakehouses/datawarehouse with enterprise databases, supporting large-scale analytics.
Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and optimize costs across database and analytics platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on skills with Azure SQL and CosmosDB (performance tuning, HA/DR, lifecycle management).
Proven experience as a Microsoft Fabric and Power BI administrator in enterprise environments.
Proficiency with observability tools (Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
Solid knowledge of Azure services (Key Vault, Storage, App Services, RBAC).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
