The Implementation Reporting Analyst will work alongside the Implementation Team to transition our new clients onto NorthWinds’ claims processing and benefits administration platform. The Implementation Reporting Analyst will work directly with our client’s business and reporting teams to define the scope and requirements of the reporting project and create new reports that solve client business needs. A solid understanding of the organizational data is necessary as is the ability to design, develop and implement various reporting and analysis solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Be knowledgeable of the different data resources available for analysis and ability to identify the source and sources of data best suited for each situation.
• Collaborate with team members and clients on data analysis needs including definition of the purpose and scope of analysis, performing the analysis, and communicating the results of analysis.
• Work with team members to provide requirements for new data tables/data needs.
• Create user-friendly reports and verify the accuracy of results provided.
• Report on the status of projects and tasks both orally and in writing.
• Access EPHI following the current guidelines as established at the company-wide and department levels.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Personal Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field and a minimum of 5 years work experience.
• Experience in Health Insurance Sector
• Proficiency of relational database concepts including fundamental proficiency in SQL programming.
• Understanding of data warehouse methodology
• Ability to communicate in an effective manner with other technical team members and interface directly with client users.
• Experience in research and analysis of data, market need, and customer issues.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and negotiation skills that may be applied to both internal and external clients or technology partners.
• Finance and/or accounting experience a plus.
