Data Reporting Analyst

FinXL is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Banking / Wealth Management / Superannuation client on a key transformation engagement.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimise automated reporting suites using Pentaho.
Track migration milestones and operational performance through data analysis.
Perform rigorous data validation to ensure integrity during system transitions.
Reconcile data as it moves from legacy environments to the new target state.
Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable reports for stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence needs.
Identify opportunities to enhance data workflows and reporting efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience
Advanced proficiency in Pentaho for data integration and reporting is essential.
Expert-level experience with Excel, specifically building complex Pivot Tables.
Proven ability to manage and synthesise large, complex datasets.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail for data reconciliation.
Background in Accounting or Finance is highly desirable.
Professional qualifications such as a CA or CPA will be looked upon favourably.
Experience working within large-scale digital integration or migration projects.
