Data Scientist About the Role: We are looking for a Data Scientist to help create artificial intelligence products for Reuters News. In this role, the candidate is expected to create deep learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence models using state-of-the-art research and cloud platform solutions, with a special focus on data preparation, testing and evaluation of metric performance. Tasks will include data gathering and preparation, model training, meeting with stakeholders, including editorial and technical colleagues, and assisting with evaluating systems, including the use of performance metrics. About You 5+ programming experience in Python with a strong grasp of software engineering standard methodologies such as code-reusability, modularity, use of repos, etc. 5+ years of applied experience in ML, deep learning or Computer Vision Have demonstrated expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence tasks such as feature engineering, image processing, NLP, or model training. Knowledge and experience with recent machine learning frameworks Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining high-quality, robust and maintainable code Experience in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications, with familiarity in AWS or Azure Ability to work with large data sets, including preparation, labelling, and analysis tasks Comfortable with Agile practices Comfortable with giving web presentations on investigations or work #LI-KP1 What's in it For You?
