About Business Intelligence Unit:
The BI Unit drives data based decisions within the bank. Reporting in to Head Banking Operations and Transformation, this department works with all businesses of the bank including retail, small business and corporate to drive analytics. In terms of functions, the department has teams focused on all aspects of analytics for the bank including risk analytics, financial crime analytics, business and marketing analytics, building predictive scores, data engineering and business reporting.
About the Role:
We are looking for business analysts for our Financial Modelling CoE team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing valuation models and customer profit scores
• Leveraging valuation frameworks like discounted cash flow, NPV, IRR & RaROC to come up with business specific insights
• Driving pricing recommendations, and decisioning on product features & acquisition mix
• Creating profitability linked insights for helping drive analytical interventions to acquire/ retain/ up-sell/ cross-sell customers as per the profitability matrix
Qualifications:
B.Tech/ BE or MBA- Finance or MS Economics
Role Proficiencies:
• B.Tech/ BE or MBA- Finance or MS Economics
• Problem solver with 4-8 years of hands-on experience working with large datasets (SAS, SQL)
• Strong track record in solving analytical problems using quantitative and statistical approaches
• Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimension data from varying sources
• Prior experience in financial modelling
• Ability to apply an agile analytic approach leading to outcomes
• Experience in BFSI domain is a plus
