Job Description
As a Data Solutions Specialist in our Money In, Money Out (MIMO) domain, youll play a critical role in improving how money moves through IAG safely, reliably and at scale. This role sits at the heart of a large, tightly integrated environment, bringing together data, technology and people to strengthen operational confidence across multiple platforms and teams.
Youll focus on the technologyenabled uplift of operations, using data solutions, automation,controlsand observability to improve service health and transparency. While the work is deeply technical, success comes just as much from your ability to collaborate, influence and build trust across horizontally structured, crossfunctional teams.
This is a handson role for someone who enjoys working in complexity, owning data solutions in production, and helping turn connected systems into a more cohesive and resilient endtoend service.
This is a permanent full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia.
What You'll Do
Own andoperatedata solutions supporting observability, controlframeworksand automation across the Money In, Money Out (MIMO) domain.
Design, build andmaintainscalable, productiongrade data models that support complex financial and transactional processes.
Implement and support data monitoring, qualitycontrolsand health indicators to ensure reliability across integrated platforms and upstream/downstream systems.
Partner with platform, payments,financeand operations teams to integrate data pipelines,controlsand insights across a multisystem, eventdriven environment.
Facilitate technical workshops to define requirements, data flows, controlpointsand operational outcomes across crossfunctional stakeholders.
Support deployment and transition of data solutions into live operations, contributing to incident response, rootcauseanalysisand continuous improvement.
Ensure data assets, models and pipelines align with governance, security,lineageand compliance standards.
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or data solutions roles within complex, production environments.
Strong handson experience with SQL and DBT, including building and supporting models used in live operations.
Experience implementing or supporting data quality, observability,monitoringor control capabilities.
Proven ability to work across multiple systems,platformsor domains where accuracy and reliability are critical.
Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, with confidence influencing outcomes without formal authority.
Exposure to financial services, payments,insuranceor regulated environments (highly regarded, not essential).
