Job Description
International tourism and transport company
ASX Listed with 12,500+ employees globally
Competitive salary and benefits package
We are seeking a Finance Reporting & Data Analyst to join our Group Financial Reporting function. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with data to improve reporting accuracy, streamline budgeting and forecasting processes, and strengthen group-level financial insights.
As we implement new financial systems (Workday, Office Connect, Adaptive), you will play a key role in shaping how financial information is captured, structured, and reported across the group. You will partner closely with FP&A, Finance, BI, and Operations to reduce manual reporting, enhance planning processes, and deliver meaningful insights that support decision-making.
This is a finance-first role — perfect for someone with strong analytical capability who wants to elevate financial reporting and planning, not a pure data analyst or BI developer.
About Your Role
Partner with Group Financial Reporting, FP&A, Operations, and BI to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, insightful financial analysis.
Support the implementation and alignment of new financial systems (Workday, Office Connect, Adaptive) and ensure data integrity across the group.
Improve budgeting and forecasting processes by maintaining and enhancing financial models.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI is beneficial but not the core of the role).
Analyse financial performance and provide timely, commercial insights to support decision-making.
Reduce manual reporting by identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Support the Group Head of Financial Reporting in ensuring consistent, high-quality consolidation inputs from FP&A and Finance teams globally.
What Sets You Apart
5 - 7 years’ experience in financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, or FP&A.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, accounting, or a related field.
Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
Experience working with financial systems and large datasets within a finance environment.
Solid understanding of financial concepts, reporting cycles, and performance drivers.
Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for stakeholders.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Power BI experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Who This Role Is Not For
Pure data analysts or BI developers
Candidates without hands-on finance experience
Accountants seeking purely technical accounting roles
Candidates whose primary skillset is SQL/Python rather than finance
This role is for someone who sees data as a tool to elevate finance — not the other way around.
Why Join Us
Influence how new financial systems and reporting frameworks are built
Work within a global finance team undergoing meaningful transformation
Collaborate with a supportive team that values curiosity, improvement, and commercial insight
Grow your career at the intersection of finance, systems, and analytics
