Job Description
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions that meet our clients' needs.
• Responsibilities and Requirements:
This role requires a high level of expertise in database administration, including creating and managing database environments, evaluating patching requests, and communicating constraints, risks, and issues.
You will also be responsible for maintaining database monitoring using OEM 13C, identifying potential performance issues, and taking corrective action to prevent downtime.
Additionally, you will maintain access and integrity of databases, replication, backup, partitions, storage, and access, ensuring data security and availability.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Shell scripting and database design, monitoring, upgrade, and migration on ASM and RAC systems.
Other responsibilities include performing troubleshooting activities, evaluating and installing new database products, and ensuring database security standards and procedures are maintained.
