Database Administrator

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator (MongoDB). The Database Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including database administration, database design, troubleshooting, and replication. The role is located in Navi Mumbai and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised roleDesign and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and viewsDefine users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely mannerUse high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup dataMinimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responsesProvide proactive and reactive data management support and training to usersDetermine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standardsPerform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrityMonitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when requiredRequirements and Qualifications:Database Administration and Troubleshooting skillsExperience in Database DesignKnowledge of Databases and ReplicationExperience with MongoDBStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant certifications in database administrationDatabase Design and Table ModelingDesigning and implementing MongoDB database schemasMigrating data from other databases to MongoDBProblem solving skills and ability to think algorithmicallyBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
