Timing: 5 PM to 2 AM (IST)
Job Description:
Looking for Mongo DBA to maintain MongoDB databases while optimizing the performance, security, and availability of MongoDB clusters.
Responsibilities of the assigned resource will include:
• Maintain MongoDB HA strategies, including replica sets.
• Design and implement indexing strategies for MongoDB.
• Maintain MongoDB databases/DB projects.
• Advise with MongoDB scaling design, implement and manage the security of MongoDB databases.
• Managing MongoDB Oplog and journals.
• Responsible for Mongo backups and restores.
• MongoDB Connector for BI.
• Administer MongoDB to achieve 100% availability
• Collaborate with others team to solve technical issues
• Research, test, evaluate and recommend NoSQL solutions (existing & emerging) with match for best use cases.
• Maintain detailed documentation of database Design/Architecture and setup.
• Provide training to members of the Database team on MongoDB.
• Develop appropriate documentation and procedures to support ongoing maintenance.
• Automates recurring/redundant database tasks.
• Maintains database integrity, availability and restorability.
• Executes and automates database refreshes.
• Participate in MongoDB version upgrades with zero down-time and no impact to customers.
• Linux- shell scripting.
• Handle container application like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
