Summary
The ideal candidate will create, install and manage our databases. With an emphasis on performance management, referential integrity, and data integration skill sets.
Responsibilities
• Manage database changes and re-designs
• Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
• Drive automation of code
• Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed.
• Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Set and maintain database standards.
• Manage database access.
• Performance tuning of database systems.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Requirements-
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
• Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Microsoft SQL Server, PLSQL, TSQL, Performance tuning, backup/restore
• Experience with modern database integration solutions (DBT, Fivetran, Rivery,…)
• Azure [Good to have]
• Be available for on-call support as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
