Sr. Associate DBA – Job Description (Location-REMOTE)
ProEdge employs both SQL and NoSQL database technologies for delivering the services. The DBA will be the point of contact for all Database related issues, upgrades and performance of these database instances.

Skills
● Ideally 6 to + years of relevant experience.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline (BE, BTech,MCA).
● 7+ years experience in managing SQL and NoSQL database instances for a customer facing internet application
● 3+ years experience in supporting Public Cloud based databases, self-hosted as well as managed databases.
● Adept with query optimization and index management on SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL and Mongo databases.
● In-depth understanding of backup and restore procedures and DR setup of SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
● Fluent in database scripting and automation of data ingestion procedures
Additional qualifications
● Experience with Cloud SQL on GCP.
● Experience working with MongoDB Atlas offering.
● Understanding of data sovereignty and data residency requirements.
