SME Level: Minimum 6+ years of experience in ClickHouse
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/MCA) in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
Job Description:
We are looking for passionate and experienced ClickHouse Engineers (L2 and SME levels) to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance ClickHouse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain production-grade systems based on ClickHouse.
Design schemas, plan and deploy clusters (ranging from single-node setups to large-scale clusters).
Configure, install, backup, and manage multi-node ClickHouse clusters.
Monitor and optimize performance for high availability and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
Develop backup, recovery, and security strategies for ClickHouse environments.
Collaborate with development teams for optimal schema design and query tuning.
Work on infrastructure projects and improvements to ClickHouse.
Engage with the ClickHouse open-source community via GitHub, Stack Overflow, Telegram.
Provide technical support, including troubleshooting and advising on ClickHouse usage.
Handle support calls and assist in deployment and upgrades of ClickHouse.
Desirable Skills & Tools:
ClickHouse managed services and cloud deployments.
Experience in big data stack components: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NiFi.
Understanding of data science and analytics use cases.
Familiarity with SRE/DevOps tools (Prometheus, Ansible, ELK, etc.).
Proficient in version control systems like Git.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
