Job Description
Experience : - 2+ years' experience in MySQL and MariaDB and PostgreSQL Database technology
Qualification : - Degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputed institute
Role & Responsibilities:
Building / Analyzing / Fine Tuning databases through various tasks like DBMS installation, parameters configuration, Data Migrations, Data Integrations, connection settings and configuring Cluster and Backup systems.
Providing 24x7 responsive support for the customers through daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning of the database systems
Build SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL instances in clustered and non-clustered mode for company’s needs.
Handle upgrades, migrations, backups, recovery, replications, Mirroring etc
Support mission critical databases for customers, where any unscheduled downtime will result in major business loss.
Optimize slow queries , server resources and database parameters as necessary
Work closely with application team for designing databases and other maintenance and tuning activities
Automation, standardization and visualization of our daily operations and processes to maximize productivity.
Proactive system monitoring and support
Technical Skills: Must Have
Experience in delivering finance related projects
Very good Technical Documentation Skills
Excellent written & oral communication skills
Organizational skills Good to Have
Deep understanding and experience with Clustering techniques and other Database High Availability Solutions : Galera, PXC, InnoDB cluster, MHA, Golden Gate
