Behavioral Skills :
• Good customer handling capabilities and should have good communication skills.
• Should be able to work under pressure.
• Comfortable in interacting with external customers and internal stakeholders, should have good interpersonal skills.
• Should be a team player and coordinate well between Internal and External teams
• Should be able to work in 24X7 shift when needed.
Analytical and Technical Skills :
• 4 - 8 Years of relevant experience in MySQL DBA
• Proven working experience as a Database administrator
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
• Exposure and expertise if few or all of – MongoDB, Mariadb, MySQL, PostgreSql
• Experience in query tuning, cluster, archival, database design
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Should be able to refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model and further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements
• Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
• Control access permissions and privileges
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
• MySQL Administrator with experience on MariaDB or MongoDB
• Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• No Oracle DBA required.
